Portillo’s Q3 revenues, profits rose after the restaurant chain raised prices


Portillo's Inc. said its third-quarter revenues and profits rose after the restaurant chain raised prices earlier in the year.

The Oak Brook, Illinois-based restaurant chain reported that third-quarter revenue increased 9.5% or $13.1 million, to $151 million.

Earnings per share rose to 4 cents from 1 cent a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters First Call expected revenues of $149 million and earnings of 2 cents per share.
