Portland business owner joins lawsuit against the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau


On Thursday, Portland-based small business owner Deborah Field joined a lawsuit that was filed by Democracy Forward last month against the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The lawsuit states that the CFPB neglected to collect and disclose data on financial institutions’ discriminatory lending practices against small business owners, women and minorities.
