Queen’s first hospital in Hawaii to utilize new cardiac treatment


The Queen's Medical Center is the first hospital in Hawaii to use the RHYTHMIA Mapping System, a powerful technology that displays more information in cardiac mapping, specifically for those patients with complicated heart rhythm disorders.

A mapping system of this strength can cost upwards of $100,000.

"We're essentially opening up the blinds on patient care," said David Singh, an electrophysiologist and chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at The Queen’s Medical Center.
