Queens is the top auction borough as N.Y.C. foreclosures decline


N.Y.C. foreclosures were on the rise with the number of cases hitting an eight-year peak in 2017. The scenario has since changed, according to a new study.

With 716 unique cases in the third quarter, New York City foreclosures decreased 17 percent year-over-year. That's a 19 percent drop quarter-over-quarter. See the infographic below.
