Rand Tower’s hotel conversion could come with a rooftop bar and restaurant


The conversion of downtown's Rand Tower into a hotel could also bring with it a rooftop bar and restaurant.

New building owner Maven Real Estate Group has submitted plans to the Historic Preservation Commission to convert the fifth floor of the tower to a restaurant and bar space. A 2,100-square-foot patio with a retractable glass roof would be built on the annex portion of the building, which is five stories tall. The annex is tucked between the tower and the neighboring Canadian Pacific Plaza.…
