Recently acquired Houston restaurant closes for remodel, rebranding

Sambrooks Management Co. has announced another project: expand, rebrand and remodel Star Fish, one of the three restaurants it acquired last summer.

Star Fish, at 191 Heights Blvd., closed after service on Feb. 16, a spokeswoman said. For the next four weeks, the restaurant — which will now be called 1751 Sea and Bar — will receive an interior remodeling that will expand the bar area, according to a press release. The goal is to create a more inviting atmosphere, per the release.
