Regulators in New York approve Northwest Bank’s relocation plans

New York state regulators have approved Northwest Bank's plan to relocate a branch on Transit Road in East Amherst.

This fall, the Pennsylvania-headquartered bank (NASDAQ: NWBI) will close the office at 6409 Transit Road and move operations less than one mile north to 6525 Transit Road.

The bank will lease the new space from Iskalo Development Corp., which purchased the 4,288-square-foot building in 2017. The office is a former KeyBank N.A. branch that has been vacant since 2014.
