Rents rising in Phoenix despite national trends


Despite national rents seeing the slowest start since 2010, Phoenix maintains an upward trend in rent prices, according to recent data from RentCafe and Yardi Matrix.

A RentCafe infographic shows that Phoenix is in the top five for fastest-rising rents for cities in the United States.

The average rent in Phoenix in May was $967, according to RentCafe. This is a 0.4 percent change in the past month and a 4.4 percent growth change year over year.
