Dean & DeLuca will not open in downtown Bethesda, Bethesda Magazine reported Friday.
The gourmet grocer is “pausing our market expansion,” a spokesperson for the grocer told Bethesda Mag. That includes the much-anticipated store at 4749 Bethesda Ave., adjacent to JBG Smith Properties’ new headquarters building at 4747 Bethesda Ave.
