Residential roundup: A look at Charlotte’s latest projects


Charlotte's stock of apartments is continuing to grow.

Several rezoning petitions approved by Charlotte City Council in June, for instance, could result in hundreds more apartments added across the city. That includes up to 330 apartments planned near Berewick Town Center and Charlotte Premium Outlets in Steele Creek as well as another 350 units proposed as part of a larger mixed-use development in east Charlotte, near the Albemarle Road interchange on Interstate 485.
