Restaurateurs call for Folsom City Council to adopt permanent outdoor dining program


Efforts are underway in the city of Folsom to implement a program that would make al fresco dining permanent on city-owned properties, a move business owners have advocated for since it was first adopted on a temporary basis during the pandemic.

City officials held a first reading on Tuesday night of a new ordinance that would establish a permanent framework for the outdoor dining permit process allowing for use of parking spaces on city streets and city-owned properties.
