Sentinel Net Lease is a prospective buyer for some Jewel Osco stores


A real estate investment firm is considering buying a Jewel Osco store should an opportunity arise from Kroger Co.’s pending $25 billion acquisition of Albertsons Cos.

Baltimore-based Sentinel Net Lease plans to invest up to $50 million this year buying Chicago area retail and office properties. One of its Chicago retail tenants is grocer Schnucks.
