Slideshow: Old Airbus parts become designer furniture you can buy


If you’ve been on the hunt for new decor for the aviation enthusiast in your life, look no more.

A team supported by the Airbus Bizlab in France have now turned their idea of turning old aircraft parts into interior furnishings into a fully fledged business with the launch of A Piece of Sky.

The company says in a press release that employees Anaïs Mazaleyrat and Jérémy Brousseau began formulating the idea in 2017 through a training session at the Airbus Leadership University.
