(SLIDESHOW) Triad barbecue chain adds catering facility to keep up with demand


Chris Hursey said the demand for barbecue catering has risen with the economy.

"It is growing," Hursey told Triad Business Journal. "It's going crazy. I'm no longer able to get out of the restaurant. I've got a lot more than I can do. Over the last two years, it's getting consistently bigger."

On the weekend prior to talking to TBJ Oct. 19, Hursey said Alamance County-based Hursey's Bar-B-Q had catered two events with a combined 3,500 guests.
