Son of a billionaire buys equestrian estate in Wellington for $12M


Robert K. Irving, a Canadian businessman and the oldest son of billionaire JK Irving, bought an equestrian estate in Wellington for $11.5 million.

Franklin Montross IV, previously the chairman and CEO of General Reinsurance AG, and wife Laura Lee Montross sold the 10.78-acre property at 15044 and 15096 Natures Point Lane to Championship Properties, managed by Irving in New Brunswick, Canada. The deal was financed by an $8.63 million mortgage from BMO Harris Bank.
