South Beach condo sells for $14M to family of asset manager


A company affiliated with the owners of a European tanker ship firm sold a condo in Apogee in South Beach for $13.5 million to the wife of a major hedge fund manager.

The 3,731-square-foot condo was sold by 1604 Apogee Corp., managed by Emanuele Lauro and Filippo Lauro, the CEO and VP, respectively, of Monaco-based Scorpio Tankers.
