St. Louis health care worker pleads guilty to billing Medicaid while on a cruise ship


A St. Louis home health care worker has pleaded guilty for making false statements to Medicaid.

Demagio Smith, 28 and of St. Louis, admitted to repeatedly submitting false time sheets to Medicaid that said he was working as a home health care aide from 2013 to 2017 as part of his plea agreement.
