St. Paul OKs senior living at former school site


The St. Paul City Council has cleared the way for the J.A. Wedum Foundation's plan to redevelop a former school building site into senior housing, a move that will also realign the busy intersection at West Seventh Street and Lexington Avenue.

The Star Tribune reports on the City Council vote, which was needed to designate the 5.5-acre site of the former Riverside School as a "traditional neighborhood," allowing construction to proceed.
