SunTrust, BB&T tap brand consultancy to develop new name


SunTrust and BB&T have chosen a partner to help them create a new name for the bank that will result from their $66 billion merger.

The banks have picked Interbrand, a global brand consultancy, to do research, positioning and naming as part of the process to create the new company’s name and brand identity.
