Tennis star Rafael Nadal misses shot at South Florida tennis academy


Boca Raton parks officials have rejected tennis star Rafael Nadal’s proposal to build a tennis training academy in a city park, essentially calling his shot at a deal out of bounds.

The 16-time Grand Slam winner had hoped to establish his first academy outside of his Spanish hometown in Patch Reef Park at 2000 Yamato Road.
