Health care costs are a serious concern both nationally and here in Wisconsin where, according to a recent RAND Corp. study, our costs are well above national average. At the same time, issues around equality and equity are again at the forefront of American conversation. What’s too-often overlooked is how these issues intersect and the hard-but-necessary steps we must take to address health inequity.
