If you tried just one new food at the Minnesota State Fair this year, what would it be? Based on the early reviews, your best bet is the Snow Cap Mini Waffle Sundae.

The 122-year-old Hamline Church Dining Hall seems to have a hit on its hands with this dessert, a miniature waffle topped with cream cheese ice cream from local producer Izzy’s, a maraschino cherry and a drizzle of maple syrup.
