Phoenix craft brewery to close as new owners plot reopening


One of the Valley's first craft breweries is closing its doors as its new owners are planning a different brewery concept at its location.

Phoenix Ale Brewery at 3002 E. Washington St. and its Central Kitchen restaurant at 5813 N. Seventh St. will close later this fall and be replaced by PHX Beer Co., according to the Arizona Republic.
