The incentive that helped spur Microsoft’s major expansion in Mount Pleasant


Microsoft Corp. is not seeking direct incentives from local governments to develop 1,030 acres with new data centers in Mount Pleasant, however a sales tax break included in Wisconsin’s state budget earlier this year represents a significant financial incentive that helped make the project possible.
