The Next Chapter: Jackhammering


We’ve all heard of helicopter parents who are super-overprotective and hover constantly. We’ve heard of lawnmower parents who go in and clear the path to save their child from everything. The Washington Post just dubbed a new type of parenting, referred to as the jackhammers.

As someone who works in education, I’m very experienced with these parents. These parents come to meetings and are relentless, loud and destructive.
