Giant Food LLC is the largest grocery store operator in Greater Baltimore with $1.42 billion local sales from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, according to Food World, a Columbia-based trade publication covering the retail grocery industry.
The Landover-based supermarket chain has 41 stores in Greater Baltimore, including Queen Anne's county. The Food World market study reported a 16.06 percent market share for Giant Food –– .32 percent less than last year's report.
