This European city doesn’t want Five Guys


Old Town Alexandria is getting a Taco Bell Cantina, but one of Europe’s oldest downtowns has an issue with Greater Washington’s homegrown burger chain.

City officials in Amsterdam, the largest city in the Netherlands, have refused to give Five Guys a license to open a location in the city’s center, according to Dutch News, because the restaurant concept runs against the area’s zoning plan.
