Three Japanese-owned restaurants in Honolulu close


The Japanese owner of Honolulu restaurants Café Lani, Tempura Ichidai and Gokoku Sushi abruptly closed all three locations this week.

The Café Lani and Tempura Ichidai restaurants, both at Ala Moana Center, and Gokoku Sushi at Koko Marina Center, posted signs in the windows instructing patrons on how they could get refunds on gift cards, according to reports by KHON and Hawaii News Now.
