Tom Hoenig joins board of Kansas City company


Tom Hoenig, former CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, has a new job in the metro area.

Hoenig was elected to the board for Kansas City Life Insurance Co., filling a vacancy created by the death of Richard Finn. The term expires in April 2022. Hoenig also will join the board’s audit committee.

Most recently, Hoenig was vice chairman of the FDIC from 2012-2018. He was chair of the FDIC’s Bank Appeals and Audit Committees and was a director of NeighborWorks America, an organization…
