UGA awarded $8M to develop new flu vaccine


A team of researchers at the University of Georgia have signed a contract with the National Institutes of Health for an initial award of $8 million to develop a new influenza vaccine.

According to UGA Today, the vaccine will be designed to protect against multiple strains of influenza virus in a single dose.
