Vivienne Westwood, designer whose career spanned punk rock to high fashion, dies


Vivienne Westwood, the British fashion designer and social activist whose designs graced punk rockers and Hollywood stars, has died at the age of 81.

“Vivienne Westwood died today, peacefully and surrounded by her family, in Clapham, South London. The world needs people like Vivienne to make a change for the better,” the announcement on Twitter read.
