VSP closing St. Cloud facility as eyewear maker consolidates U.S. manufacturing


VSP Vision is closing its St. Cloud lab as part of a company-wide consolidation that will affect a so-far unknown number of Minnesota employees.

The vision care provider's St. Cloud facility, an optical laboratory that makes prescription eyewear, will close on July 29, according to Jace Duval, a spokesperson for the company. The facility began operations in 2013.
