Washington University names new dean for school of social work, public health and social policy


Washington University has hired a social work professor from Southern California as the next dean of the Brown School.

The University said last week that Dorian Traube, a professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Southern California at Los Angeles, was appointed as dean of the Brown School, effective Aug. 1.

WashU's Brown School offers graduate education in social work, public health and social policy.
