Wendy’s gets a D- for antibiotic-free beef (and that’s better than most)


Just two of the country's biggest burger sellers — Shake Shack and BurgerFi — received A grades in a report rating reduction of antibiotic use in meat supplies among 25 burger restaurants.

The Natural Resources Defense Council’s Chain Reaction report showed McDonald’s, Burger King, Hardee’s, Steak ’n Shake, White Castle, In-N-Out Burger, Five Guys and 15 other chains received F grades for their lack of policies, practices or transparency in reducing the use of meat raised with antibiotics.…
