Western Mass News will have a standalone studio on the grounds of the MGM Springfield casino when it opens in September.
MGM Springfield announced Tuesday that the studio will "go live" near the resort's outdoor plaza and will broadcast select news on a daily basis when the casino opens. The studio will have floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing those passing by to see live broadcasts and interviews.
