What lawmakers want to know as they launch hearings into Silicon Valley Bank failure


Congress kicks off two two days of Washington hearings into the failures this month of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, and how the government should respond.

The Senate Banking Committee goes first, with hearings taking place today and the House Financial Services Committee slated to take up the matter Wednesday.
