What Planet Oasis could do to traffic and how ODOT plans to fix it


The 350-acre Planet Oasis entertainment complex could bring a whole new level of traffic headaches to an already swamped interchange along I-71 in Delaware County.

The expansive "mutli-billion-dollar" Planet Oasis calls for several major attractions with an aggressive timeline to be largely built by 2021. Developer Blue Horseshoe Ventures Ltd. didn't immediately estimate the projected annual traffic to the site, but it's going to have as many as 15,000 employees and 4,000 to 5,000 hotel rooms.…
