Hot sauce and brownies. The combination doesn't come to mind when baking but it's exactly what McCormick & Co. Inc.'s flavor guru recommends trying.
Use a little bit of McCormick-owned Frank's RedHot Sauce when baking brownies or chocolate chip cookies because it mixes well with chocolate, said Kevan Vetter, McCormick's head chef and culinary development director.
"It just sort of lifts the flavor up and gives it a little more depth of flavor," Vetter said.
