Why the Lake Minnetonka housing market is showing no sign of slowdown


The record-breaking pace of the housing market is showing signs of slowing down, but that trend hasn’t caught up with homes on Lake Minnetonka, yet.

Between January and April, homes in the 14 towns comprising the Lake Minnetonka community sold 48% faster than the same period last year, according to data from the Minneapolis Realtors Association. That’s much faster than homes in the overall 13-county metro, which sold 7.6% faster this year than last year.
