The construction industry is a strong point in the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro MSA. According to the Columbia-Willamette Worksystem Collaborative’s 2022 Construction Market Report, in the past six years, construction has added more than 19,800 jobs – more than any other industry. Construction has the second highest rate of growth, with a 33% increase in the number of jobs between 2015 and 2021.
