Campbell Soup Co. has named Mark Clouse, the former CEO of Pinnacle Foods, as its new chief executive.
Activist investor Dan Loeb, whose hedge fund recently concluded a contentious proxy battle against the Campbell Soup board, assisted with the CEO search and “fully supports” Clouse, Campbell said.
