Beer garden, museum on historic Katy rice dryer property slated to open this year

Phase 1 of the 3-acre redevelopment of the historic J.V. Cardiff & Sons Rice Dryer property at 5321 First St., to be named The Dryer, also includes a museum and turf area with mini train around the old rice silos.
