As Transamerica Pyramid turns 50, its new owner details how the $650M deal got done and his vision for its future


"The idea is that this ground plane of the Transamerica Pyramid is going to be an attraction for the people of San Francisco," said owner Michael Shvo. "I want people to come to the pyramid, to the park, and not just take a picture from a mile away."
