A new gambling-themed bar and an expanded apparel and merchandise store are the new offerings on Eutaw Street this season.

None of the St. Louis-area chefs, restaurateurs or establishments that were named as semifinalists for the 2023 James Beard Foundation Awards — the culinary world's top prize — have advanced to the next round.

Some of the new items include chicken-based foods, but the Boog's pit beef will be back for another season.

From 15 named as semifinalists to now 6 named as finalists, the winners of the 2023 James Beard Awards will be announced on June 5 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

The owners of popular restaurant concepts Mi Cocina and Taco Diner recently acquired a 25,300-square-foot office building, which will serve as M Crowd Restaurant Group's new corporate headquarters. The acquisition of the office building allows M Crowd to train employees separately from their restaurants while also providing space for a test kitchen, warehouse, and distribution purposes.

The Gulch's Icon building will soon be home to a restaurant and bar concept. It will be steps away from Sunda, Sambuca, Burger Republic and others.
