Here's looking at you, Derby Crowd.
Watchers of the 144th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs had plenty of reasons to show off Saturday afternoon: from floral hats to Donald Trump-inspired sport coats (two of them — we literally saw two different people with Donald Trump's face on their sport coats.)
That's in spite of some of the soggiest's weather we can remember at the Kentucky Derby. Many folks braved the rain and put ponchos over their colorful outfits, while we met plenty of others who…

Another Kentucky Derby, another stable of Louisville business leaders and celebrities hitting Churchill Downs Racetrack.
With bad weather hitting Derby this year, more people were seeking shelter inside to wait out the rain before the signature race.
This afternoon, we visited a crowded Turf Club, where we found several celebrities mingling with prominent local business leaders as well as some local celebs in their own right.

It was a star-studded night at the Omni Louisville Hotel for the Bridgeman family's Trifecta Gala on Derby Eve.
This was the second year for the Trifecta event but the first year at the new Omni hotel downtown. It also marked the first year that Derby party veteran Ulysses “Junior” Bridgeman transitioned the planning of his annual gala to his three children, Justin, Ryan and Eden.

The building will include 22 units for people with disabilities. An apartment project going up in Denver’s Globeville neighborhood will provide housing for two groups that advocates say have too few places to live in Denver: people with disabilities and those who make less than the area median income.
The Elisabetta project will bring 91 apartments to 5120 Broadway, a vacant lot known as the “west campus” for Laradon, a nonprofit organization that since 1948 has provided services to local infants, children and adults with disabilities.
Once the Elisabetta is completed late next year, it will house 22 apartments reserved for people with disabilities. All 91 one-, two- and three-bedroom units there will be rented to people making 60 percent or less of the area median annual income: $63,000. Eleven will be reserved for people makin..
First “tiny home” comes to Glenwood Springs
Chelsea Self, Post IndependentThe new tiny home is 364-square-foot and has a full bathroom, a washer and dryer, a toilet, multiple sleeping areas, storage spaces, and a full kitchen.Hideout Creekside Village was once part of the Midland Railroad, where coal was transported from the Sunlight Mine down to the county road now known as Midland Avenue in Glenwood Springs and onto the main rail line.
In 1888, a fur trader purchased that railroad and built a series of cabins and storage spaces spanning the next 20 to 30 years.
Now, the campground, which has housed more than 40 RVs, is changing once again. This time, its pioneers are looking to create a more affordable space with a greater sense of community.
“And that’s what we’re trying to build,” said Beau Haines, the current owner of the historical campsite. “A community of like-minded people that want quality of life rather than size of home.”
