Adjacent to the popular Highlands neighborhoods of Denver, Sunnyside has its own somewhat rustic charm that sets it apart.
The Sunnyside neighborhood is a 1.5-square-mile area in Denver bordered by Federal Boulevard to the west, I-70 to the north, Inca Street to the east and West 38th Avenue to the south.
It's home to about 10,000 residents.

Brug Bakery opens fourth Hawaii location
Popular Japanese eatery Brug Bakery will hold a grand opening for its fourth Hawaii location this weekend at the Manoa Marketplace.
The new location, which opened two weeks ago, is in the center of the mall near Territorial Savings and Manoa Sushi, and is open Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The business will hold various promotions during the grand opening on Sunday.

New coffee shop in East Sacramento has familiar owners
A coffee shop planned in East Sacramento has ties to some local seafood restaurants.
The new business, called Station 38th & J, is in the works at 3711 J St. It comes from Trinh Le and Minnie Nguyen, the husband-and-wife team behind Station 16 seafood restaurant in midtown Sacramento and Firehouse Crawfish in South Sacramento.
Station 38th & J will fill a spot that was previously a Peet's Coffee shop, which closed in December. It's expected to open this summer.
