Baptist Health earnings grow in fiscal 2018 as merger looms


Baptist Health South Florida’s earnings increased in fiscal 2018, although its operating profits were down.

The nonprofit health system earned $405.6 million for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, up from earnings of $244.3 million in the prior fiscal year, according to a report to its bondholders.
