Greater Boston is getting its first pot shop on March 23.

New England Treatment Access has received the final sign-off from the state to open its recreational marijuana store in Brookline.

The retail location, which currently sells medical marijuana, will open next Saturday at 9 a.m. It will be the recreational store closest to Boston and the first one located steps from a MBTA stop.

Shares of Davis-based Arcadia Biosciences Inc. rose 13 percent on news that its safflower nutritional supplement for cats has been granted approval from the Food and Drug Administration.

Cousins Subs appointed its chief financial officer to the role of president.

Christine Specht, who heads the Menomonee Falls-based sandwich shop chain, began in January transitioning from her dual role of president and chief executive officer to focus on the CEO duties. Chief financial officer Jason Westhoff was selected to serve as president, according to a news release.

The DBJ calculated the percent change in population for each of the 25 municipalities on this year's list. Data was taken within a 10-year span, comparing total population numbers from 2007 and 2017. Data was provided by the U.S. Census Bureau and each value is estimated.

OpenTable has released its latest ranking of the restaurants in the Kansas City area that are “Fit for Foodies.” The San Francisco-based online reservation service describes foodies as gourmands, epicureans or people who are seeking an adventure on a plate.

OpenTable analyzes more than 400,000 new diner reviews and ratings each month. The feedback determines the rankings of restaurants in various locales around the world, including in Kansas City.
