If you thought craft breweries were a temporary fad, think again.

A study released by the United States Census Bureau shows the number of Georgia breweries has increased from seven to 32 in the last five years, making it the 25th most prominent state for brew makers. And the nationwide trend doesn't show signs of slowing.

Between 2012 and 2016, no state saw a decline in the overall number of breweries, and the number of breweries more than tripled across the US.

Will Vinton, an animator who came to master the art of “claymation” and an avatar for Portland's creative scene for decades, has died at the age of 70.

Vinton had battled Multiple Myeloma for 12 years, according to a note on his Facebook page posted by his children.
