Montgomery County tourism saw almost $2 billion in visitor sales last year, a steady increase from 2016 numbers.

Visitor spending in Montgomery County generated $1.97 billion in business sales, directly and indirectly in 2017, according to data released by Tourism Economics, an Oxford Economics Company, and the Ohio Development Services Agency TourismOhio Office.

A staff member confirmed to Business First by phone on Monday that the restaurant's last day was Sunday, without providing further details. Groundstone was located at 5001 San Mateo Blvd. NE and served pizza, burgers and beer.
